Posted - Oct 01 2007 : 11:08:55 AM Wow, and here I am complaining about the humid 90 degrees here. Fall feels far away, and ya'll have SNOW!!! |

Posted - Oct 01 2007 : 08:40:26 AM In iowa it was around 78 degrees and humid. No snow here for awhile. Sometimes we will get our first snow fall towards the end of October but it usually holds off until November or later. I didn't realize Utah got snow so soon - looks beautiful though!!! -Elizabeth |

Posted - Sep 30 2007 : 5:08:28 PM Looks good to me! We hit 84 today just southwest of Chicago. Way too warm and dry for this time of year. Our fall colors haven't really started either. Looks like we'll stay warm for the next 10 days or so.
Hope you feel better soon.

Posted - Sep 30 2007 : 2:14:56 PM As usual, in Portland, it's beautiful. We are starting our rainy season and the world looks so fresh and clean when it rains. I'm gonna use the fireplace tonight, eat homemade brownies, and cuddle with Stuie. The cats and Fritz have been snoozing all day. Perfect napping weather. Now if the laundry fairies would do my mountain of ironing, life would be perfect.

Posted - Sep 30 2007 : 09:24:21 AM Just rain here - we are getting a system from up North, so it will be cooler, but wet. It poured all day Friday with thunder and lightning, then yesterday was dry and cloudy but today it is raining. Suppose to rain all week - we really need it since it has been a dry summer.

Posted - Sep 30 2007 : 08:52:59 AM Wow, I can't believe there's snow happening out west! In Chicago, it's a bit cool in the morning, then it warms up considerably during the day. I can't wait until it gets chilly for real!

Posted - Sep 29 2007 : 10:01:51 PM Oh my goodness Sunshine! I recommend you just stay inside & feel better. Who needs snow anyway? I am so not ready for that! Sorry to rub salt in your wound...but it is sunny & cool here-very autumnal.

Posted - Sep 29 2007 : 8:50:05 PM Oh my gosh Sunshine! No wonder it was so cold up here today! I mean, we are a long ways away from each other, but it seemed unusually cold. So I bet there is a huge cold front over Idaho and Utah (well obviously over Utah...)

Posted - Sep 29 2007 : 5:51:48 PM Wow, I can't believe you guys are getting snow! I live in Iowa, and it is still really warm out in the afternoon. It was cool this morning, but a long sleeved shirt was all I needed! I don't know about any of the rest of you, but I'm ready for spring again! AACK! I hate snow! |

Posted - Sep 29 2007 : 5:09:47 PM I'm just west of Ronna's son and we did have snow this morning and it's been windy and cold. My son is very excited as he's a snowboarder! Me, I'd like to have fall and enjoy the leaves. Still have a few outdoor projects that need to be finished before winter really gets here.

Posted - Sep 29 2007 : 5:06:41 PM We are getting snow here too...about 2 and 1/2 hours south of Sunshine. The kids are thrilled! It is mostly just muddy out now..but starting to stick to the ground. Our first snow of the season..it will still be fall for awhile..but the snow will happen now and then. Makes me glad we got the garden all picked and inside now. I am still canning tomatoes as they ripen..and we have a few nice pumpkins we are covering so they continue to ripen. They may not ripen now...we will see. It was nice enough out to be out in shirtsleeves with no sweater even just yesterday!!

Posted - Sep 29 2007 : 4:14:47 PM Just talked to my son in Ogden Utah...he's been trying to build a dog run in his back yard, has two more posts to set and it's snowing too much for him to be outside. We had a bit of rain last night, just enough to wet the ground. Nice today, about 70 and sun shining. Ronna |

Posted - Sep 29 2007 : 2:27:53 PM Wow. I am so sorry you are sick and cannot get out and enjoy the snow!! It's in the 80's here today and we took advantage and cleaned up the yard. Gee, it would be nice if it could snow here and just cover up all the stuff that needs to be done. :)
