We went to my parent's house today to help out with a few things. We give them wood now and again as they burn wood and we as of yet, do not. So we brought a load down today and the kids all played and we met the new gun shy hunting dog named Trigger.

Anyhow, I liked how the wood looked stacked against the house, so I took this photo only to find "others" captured. keep in mind that this in NOT sun glare. The sun was already ont he other side of the house and behind some trees when I shot this.

My parent's house was the county seat about 100 years ago as well as a trading post as it sits VERY close to the Groundhouse River. We have all experienced "others" there but this is the first time they have been caught on film.

From my count, there are 4 orbs and at least one light streak, possibly two...

ETA: do you see how the one right in front is cose and the others are very obviously away....I LOVE this photo!

I love stuff like this.

OH! And I didn't use the flash. I rarely do. I don't like it.

Shirley, I'll be happy to find out about Piwac for you. If you want, I'll send you my phone number and you can call me. No charge, of course. I have three Siamese. I love the breed. They have opinions on everything.

Tasha, parallel lives is one answer for deja vu. I've always thought it was the most sensible one.

Patricia,

I think it's so funny that you mention parallel lives. We were just discussing that very thing last night. Granted Rob was drinking whiskey and my friend and I polished off two and a half bottles of wine, ut it all made clear sense. I think that can clearly explain deja vu. I love deja vu.It's always fun...and if you catch it and pay attention you can make it last more than that quick moment...love it!

We used to have a cat named Piwac(siamese) after she died I think it was her spirit that would jump upon my bed at night. I havent felt her for a while and have wondered what happen to her and why did she leave.
Patricia, do you think she is still here?
Thanks

Sooo true, Mary Jane. I love the way the scientists are learning and proving things we spiritual people have known for ages. For instance, my husband, Stu, who is a theoretical physicist, told me science has identified 11 other realities co-existing with ours. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Proves what I've always said about parallel lives and the fact that we exist in more "places" than this one. There are many "yous". God is indeed the Author of something mysterious and wonderful.

Wow Patricia, that info was so interesting. Thank you so much for sharing. It all really is amazing isn't it? There are so many things that just are not easily explained away like a lot of people would like them to be!

Tasha, my website is www.petreader.com. There's a lot of useful info there if you check out the newsletters archived there. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer.

General info: Spirit is the essence of one's soul. It's what the soul "puts out" but it is not the soul. Whew, that's confusing. Capise? Ghosts are earthbound spirits. A lot of people who see "ghosts" are seeing psychic impressions on the reality of the place. For instance, there are churches in England where one can see the same band of ghostly monks cross across the church every day at the same hours. these are not really ghosts. They are psychic impressions made by the same activity being done for so long at the same hour by the same people.

One of the things I do is exorcisms - clearing a house of unwanted spirit activity. I could tell you stories that would curl your hair. These spirit folks are people who were nasty in life and continue to be nasty in death. They get off making others unhappy, just as they did when they were alive. Just because you die, you don't become an angel (angels are separate beings anyway, but that's another story). Malevolent spirits love to create havoc becauase they feed on negative energy. So, the way to get rid of them is to just tell them, firmly, that they are not wanted and they must go. You can't show any fear and you can even get mad at them.

There's nothing to fear anyway. Despite what Hollywood tells you, there are laws in the universe that EVEYONE must obey. One of these is the law of attraction and repulsion, which I've talked about here. Another one is the law that forbids spirit from harming human beings. (AHA). So, they can make you miserable but they can't hurt you physically. So what are you afraid of? You're the boss in this physical reality.

Saging and other rituals also work well, because you believe in them. That's what gives them power. For someone to do a ritual but who thinks it's baloney, they won't work.

You're right, Mary Jane, colors can mean different things to different people and you should go by your feelings. What I have told you is what is generally accepted by sages and scholars. If you grow up forming different perceptions for yourself, that is what works for you. I had some wild times in Upstate NY with all this stuff!

In this case, I did not detect anything bad. I truly believe they are Tasha's pals (some might call them faeries) and that they were just sharing a lovely day with her. How it felt to HER is what counts, tho.

Julie, I love your sory about Betsy. She reminds me of a very lovely spirit my daughter and I knew in our home in Oneida and whom we called "Granny". We would see her all the time and she would tuck us in at night and always made us feel loved. One Halloween, Chrissy gave a party and we saw Granny big as life in one of the pictures (which we never could find again!) Our home was on the historic register and in the basement we found an old trunk with medical supplies from the 1800s and gloves and some other things. There was also a picture of Granny as a wife, in the white dress we always saw her in) I still have that photo. The rest we gave to the historical society. When we left, I asked her if she wanted to go with us, but she said her husband had built the house for her and so she wanted to stay. We missed her.

I see animal spirits every day as a part of my work. Animals see spirit much more easily than people do. Especially cats. TO them, sometimes you're in a body and sometimes you're not. Can I answer any questions for you?

Farmgirl hug,
Patricia

That sounds so neat it gives me chills. I always stay in the room with the ghost at my parents house. Her name is Betsy. I love talking to her! We had a ghost in our house when we first moved in but she left about 6 or 8 months later. Very cool.

We cleansed the whole house and laid some smoky quarts in the thresholds of the doorways upstairs. She hung out mostly upstairs.(I know it was a she, we saw her, all of us. Grace use to play with her if you can believe that...my mother saw her, Babs had experience with her as well) She liked to wake the baby and she, after she got aggressive, liked to push. She would push Rob when he would be going up the stairs and she liked to hurry me down them. It got stressful and so we told her she had to go, did the cleansing and after about a week of constant cleansing nightly and telling her to go, she went. Grace said she just went outside and now she doesn't like to be talked about. She lives in the Woods now. I believe her.

Tasha how did you get the spirit to leave? It's odd how different people interpret different things. Patricia saw peace, with the blue orb. In this case I had strong feelings of no peace,a horrible coldness. The colors do not always mean the same things to me it is what I feel they mean.In my experience most streaks have usually been a spirits way of letting you know they are happy and at peace.I have had this gift since childhood, I have no formal training or have not studied anything. When it comes to me, it comes. Sometimes it is a wonderful good thing, other times not. I love hearing others experiences.

oh I *KNOW8 there are spirits present wiht our family. one in particular we ahd to ask to leave. She was in the house and was sort of malevolent after awhile.

My grandfather was with me until Rob and I married. I know there are others, and I really want to know them....now you have got my interest piqued. you know I am a Witch, but I have never ACTIVELY sought after finding out about my guides and spirits attached to me and/or my family.

I am soooo glad I got this shot!

Patricia, do you ahve a blog or a website where you discuss the paranormal and supernatural?

The light streaks are spirit in motion. Kinda like what you get when you try to capture motion with a still camera. They're so pretty, aren't they? You're lucky, but then, you're such a positive spiritual woman, I'm certain you have lots of spirit with you. In fact, I'm feeling that those might be your own guides enjoying some time with you.

love,

They do look like spirit to me (and believe me, in my line of work, I see lotf). From the colors I'd say they are peaceful and loving (blue for peace, pink for love). You gain some info from how you feel when you look at them as well. These are lovely. thanks for sharing. Can you do anything artful with this image? Think of how happy they'd be to be a part of something beautiful?

If anybody has questions on spirit or ghosts, or the like, just ask. I've been doing this for over 30 years and psychic all my life and I've learned a lot.

no need for apologies Mary Jane! There were a LOT of people who died in the river in the Wintertime. My own brother fell through the ice once...lost his boots. had I not been there, he probably would have joined these orbs!

I love it. It's a great photo I am emailing to my parents this afternoon.

A fantastic picture. I love it when they appear. I feel the larger pink one is a child. Ususally the streaks mean things are safe, they are happy and all is well. The perfect blue orb, I don't think is as happy or at peace as the rest, he seems to be holding back. I don't know why but I get the feeling there may of been a drowning,I feel either ice or ice cold was involved . Sorry, I told Tasha I get these vibes sometimes, I felt strongly about this picture. Yes, they are spirits, there is no doubt of that.

We have a number of spirits here in Idaho City, too. They seem to like hanging out with our kids especially when there's a dance at community hall. We've had lots of events at the hall, but when ever there is a dance, there are so many orbs around our kids that many of their faces are blocked out by them. Really cool picture, Tasha.

we have "others" in our house. My husband says they are is great-grandmother and his grandfather. He also says he sees them on occassion. My daughter has seen his great-grandmother. I have never seen anything, but honestly, I have felt her a few times. I'm used to it and it doesn't bother me since my husband knows what is going on and who is doing it. Sounds crazy, but it's true!
