You know...after giving a "farm girl" bumper sticker to one of my firends...she informed me that the message might not be clear to other drivers...
"certified Farmgirl: Mary Janes farm"...here in cali...that takes on a whole new meaning.
Now, I'm afraid people will think I'm growing/selling/smoking the medicinal mj....
any thoughts?

mima, you silly goose!
"mow it, don't grow it" lol!
As for me, I'm thinking how fun it would be to have "business cards" w/the "MJF" logo on it & ofcourse an apron,,,,that way, if you get pulled over or meet an inquizative passer by,,,,you can save time & just hand them the card....hummm, I may have to play w/my graphics to see what I can create...

I'm all for the medicinal kind too! I just don't have any to sell to anyone!!!LOL!

YEA! me too, please

And for the record, I AM for medicinal MJ. I have had and watched too many friends suffer from cancer. And, happy to say, while I lived in CA, I did vote and helped pass a bill back in 1996.

But I digress.

Either way, I could give the local po-dunk cops around here an education about both issues!

Thank you Beverly for the Farmgirl bumper sticker! I was so excited when I saw your package in my mailbox. My husband said" What the heck is a Bee Haven Maven!" I started to explain and before I could finish he laughed and said" Oh I should have guessed, it's some of that farmergirl stuff! I can't wait to plant the Four O'Clocks seed package that you included. I've already picked out a spot in my side yard for next spring. Again it was so sweet of you to send me this package of goodies! Made my day. I have a little something going out to you this week so keep your eye out for a package from NC. Tracy

Well, us farmgirls will just have to reeducate the world as to the meaning of MaryJane! I am sure that police oficer received quite the education!!

If I remember corectly someone here at the farm was pulled over by a police officer & questioned about her farm girl bumper sticker. Quite a humorous story.

Perhaps Mary Jane will have to change her name, like a Hollywood starlet... Mary Jo. Mary Sue. Mary Martha. Mary Kay.

When I think of symbolism for pot, or Mary Jane , I don't think of aprons--no wait--nope, never aprons....usually a rastafarian flag or red/yellow/green knitted beret.

I'm just sayin

I think soon everyone will know what it means and you can be some of the first people to have the bumper sticker.

My thought is who cares, you know what FarmGirl means, if anyone questions you, let 'em know what a TrueBlueFarmGirl is and does!! Give 'em a hug!! Well unless they want to buy MJ from you then send 'em on their way, lol. :)

No- now its just an apron.....
KYgurlsrbest Posted - Aug 28 2007 : 08:36:28 AM
my first thought is, doesn't the bumper sticker have an illustration of a smiling lady with braids?

and second thought, who cares what people think. I look at bumper stickers, but rarely consider them for longer than I'm sitting behind someone at a stoplight. Light changes to green, I no longer think about it.
