Thrift store Friday, Thrift store Tuesday, whatever.
It was a good day and I almost didn't go. We were pretty busy today and I didn't think I was going to fit it in. Well if nothing else it was worth going for the Salt Glaze Willaimsburg Pottery. Still don't know how that would end up at the thrift. It would have made a nice gift for someone. Guess thats me. The beautiful pair of lace and embroidered pillowcases, well you don't see running in a thrift store very often.

JANET,
Yea, I find a lot of brand name clothes for close to nothing compared to retail stores.I got that black wool winter coat a few weeks ago. So you got a really good deal there.

Nancy, you have inspired me to find a new thrift store in my area because the one close to me just had nothing to choose from. I found one near where I buy fabric and I purchased a Liz Woman's Wool Blazer in perfect condition for $4. I would never be able to afford that jacket if it wasn't for the thrift.

Denise,
If the ran holds off today I might try and go to a few myself. The season is getting short, so they're really aren't that many anymore.

Molly,
LOL. How true is that. Never thought of it myself.

NancyJo,
Won't be hitting the thrift but have been making the yard sales lately and tomorrow is yard sale day.

Too true, Mary Beth! My mom says the revenge she gets to have on us for being rotten teenagers is that we have to clean out the house in the end.

What beautiful treasures you find at your thrift store!

Good haul as usual. You once said one of your kids said 'Mom what are you going to do with all this stuff?' and you said "not my problem". Well that is how it ends up at the thrift store. So in 50 years we will have our GGGrandchildren sitting by your thrift store. MB

Forgot to say that also got some more jewelry. Anyone have some good ideas that I haven't thought of on ways to use it?
