I love to wear bib overalls, and I used to buy mine at the Gap or at Target (loved the Target ones for the price!), but mine are completely worn out now, patched over patches, and I can't find them anywhere anymore. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find some reasonably priced comfortable bibbed overalls?

Hey Sherri,

Have you checked at your local Co-op Feedstore? Did you get my message for the measurement to send to me?

Alot of times you can find replacement fasteners at craft or fabric stores. My biggest problem is pulling those riveted in buttons off the top of the bib corners..then I sew on a big button..now THAT looks rednecky..but I still do it.

If you don't mind ordering on line, try the Duluth Trading Company. Both my DH and I have gotten overalls from them and boy do they wear good and strong. What we have will last forever. Very work oriented and tough (but soft material) with lots of pockets. Or maybe Scheel's have them if there's one in your area. But do try Duluth Trading Company - they have good quality clothing that lasts a long time. Happy hunting.

Yes, the men's department at Wal Mart carries them and what I found is bring them home, soak them in warm water, then wash them and it makes them soft and yummy!!!

sherri,
i love to wear overalls to but not as much as i did before my ilnness.
anyhow, i see them here all the time at the goodwill and also at our walmart, and at the tractor store.
i think they are here because it is a rural area with a lot of ranch/farm type folks.
if you tell me your size and the brand you like i can keep my eyes open for some good deals at the goodwill, i ya want.

love
fran

I wore mine once when I was flying from Chicago to Denver for a hiking weekend. Talk about setting off the metal detectors!! If you want to spend some quality time with the TSA people and metal detector wands, just wear your bibs to fly!

I have been wearing overalls daily for at least 25 years...my husband got a pair a few years ago too..he looks pretty cute in them...but dosnt' wear them often enough for them to look "broken in " good.

Our walmart closest to us has them sometimes (Dickies brand) and I have bought them at IFA..our local feed store (Carhart and OshKosh brand)
I LOVE overalls and wear them for my chores every day. I need a new "for good" pair. Right now I am down to just old chore ones..but I wouldn't give them up for sure!! I hope to get a new pair for my birthday..or use birthday money to get some..my mom usually sends cash. Perfect gift..hahaI am glad I'm not the only one who loves them..way more comfortable than sweats even!!

Sherri-

I think it depends on your Wal-Mart. I have seen them several times in the fall at our Wal-Mart, but I am not sure what quality they would be. I think the best ones would be at farm stores or maybe even goodwill?

Do they have them at Wal-Mart? I haven't seen them there. I know there's a bunch of places on line that you can buy them, but overalls are something you have to try on - they're pretty hard to fit. I never thought about the farm-store. That's a good idea - we have a Del's and a Darigold both locally.
