Hi Ladies! Sometimes it can be hard to understand what someone means when they are giving only written instructions when it is something you are completely unfamiliar with. I hope this tutorial helps.
I first started off by going to www.photobucket.com
and then screen by screen I walk you through signing up for a photobucket album, finding your pictures, uploading them to photobucket and then posting them here.
I hope this helps you all!

Oh..Alee..this is wonderful! Aren't you amazing! Just what people need I think! You are SO talented! Yes..this will help many people...that old saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" is definitely true when it comes to this! Pat yourself on the back....awesome job! Add that to your list of things accomplished for today for sure...I know this took time and effort on your part! thank you!

Actually, I just have always had a little knack with computers so I like putting together things to help others. :D Some days I should head to bed sooner than I do- but that is usually because I stay up late to read a book or watch a movie. LOL! I usually go to bed between 9-11pm and wake up between 5:30-7am. Mostly it depends on Nora.
For a long time I called myself the "One handed Typist: One hand to hold Nora- the other to type!"
But in all seriousness- Nora loves to play by herself so I try to foster that in her, but we do have lots of fun together too! :D

How in the world do you do what you do? And don't you have a baby to take care of and follow around and feed, etc... And I know all about your clothes line drying methods. Oh, my goodness!!!!!!!!! You must fall asleep pretty fast at night. Gee--- Another question, where do you find the time to do what you do. LOL. LOL, but serious! You must be up at 3 in the morning, and hit the bed at 11 PM. Alee--- tell me your secret. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In all seriousness, I just love reading your postings. If I were to vote on the top poster, I'd pick you. You are a hoot! In a good way, Alee. Hi Alee, the only thing I really needed was to know what to copy/paste, so your tutorial showed me that. The edit function should be easy to find...thanks so much! I had just about given up on trying to figure it out.
Now to start taking pics to share... :-)

To resize you just go to photobucket, find the photo you want to re-size. You will notice there are some options above each photo and one is "edit"
Just click edit and it will take you to a new page, above the photo on that new page is "re-size" There is one called "messageboard" and one called "email" either one is a good size for here. :D

Hi Angie!
Once you have uploaded the photo to photobucket, it has it's own URL. For example here is the url to a photo of mine, one I had uploaded it to photobucket: http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w202/Onixica/?action=view¤t=PIC00012.jpg
so that is a link to the photo, but if I want it to be seen as a photo, I need to put "tags" around it to tell the forum to access the photo for you.
So the tags you need to put around the link are [ img ] insert link here [ /img ]
but without the spaces. If I didn't put in the spaces it would think that was a photo and all you would see was a little red X! LOL
So if I take out the spaces and put the "img" surrounded by brackets then you see:
Also in photobucket they have helpful boxes below the photo that have the URL of the photo in different formats. Ones says "IMG Code" The IMG code happens to be perfect for use on the forum. So if you double click the "IMG code" box, it automatically copies and then all you have to do is paste here and a photo will show up. Cool, huh?

It looks as if there are two ways to share photos on the forum.
1) a link from photobucket
2) an actual photo
Am I right? And if so,(although I am sure this has been covered before) how would I actually 'show' the photo?

Here's a little tip too for everyone on posting photos...be careful on the size if you are posting a board. To resize the photo to post onto a message board/blog while in Photobucket, click on "Edit" right above the photo. It will go to a new screen with your photo. Click on "resize" and click on the one for "website/email." It will ask you if you want to resize it and you will click ok. It will make a photo be smaller.
Here is an example of the size of photos with a medium size photo to give you an idea...I didn't want to use a large photo - but if you took one of Alee's very wonderful tutorial examples, that would be considered a large photo...if you click on resize, here is about what size they would be.
