It occurred to me the other day that I can't remember the last time I wore jeans! I used to wear them every day except when it was warm/hot, but this past winter I wore them maybe a couple of times.
I guess as I get older I'm more concerned with comfort than style.

Anyone else notice a change in their style of clothing recently?

Yep, blue jeans for me. The more worn they are, the more comfy they are. A fitted tee, comfy jeans and flip-flops!!

During the cold months, my "uniform" is a pair of Eddie Bauer loose fit jeans (each pair is 6+ years old - no low-cut waistline on this body!), an oversized sweatshirt or men's sweater, and whichever pair of Dansko clogs best coordinates with the sweater/sweatshirt. In the summertime, it's oversized cotton shorts and t-shirts...white Dansko clogs with ankle socks. ~ K

I wear jeans, blue and otherwise, lightweight ones in the summer... but will be so happy when waistlines come back up to the waist! Meanwhile, long shirt tails keep me covered

i love jeans, and overalls especially, but i havent worn jeans in a long time.
i mostly wear housedresses and im afraid to admit nightgowns.
i have put on a lot of weight in the last several years, and go more for comfort than jeans will allow. i dont think you have to get bigger as you age, but i had a goiter, graves disease and the weight just came on with a vengence. i was used to weighing about 125-140 at 5'7" and really took the whole weight thing for granted.
my little grandkids help me with acceptance of the changes in my body, cause they are too little to put societal judgements on these things. they are very honest about things.
olivia at 3 one time told me "omie you have the biggest bottom i have ever seen....it is soooo wonderful!"
we went on a trip last year, their mom, me and the 2 kiddos and we visited a animal refuge. when they came to the rhinos, they had a big discusion about how much the rhinos bottom looked like mine. they were not being mean or teasing me, they were really discussing with each other. in a very funny way it helped me appreciate my rhino bottom....but not enough to put it in a pair of blue jeans.....well maybe one day my body will change again...who knows?
at this point in my life and with 2 major illness behind me(and a behind the size of a rhinos) i am just greatful for each day and i love my life.
ooops....what was the question...oh yea, blue jeans, .....well, not so much anymore.

love
fran

Ahhhh...blue jeans! I love them! I am a jeans and t-shirt kinda gal. In the summer I wear jean shorts and t-shirts! I wouldn't know what to do without jeans. I can not see myself in anything else. No frills, satin, or stretchy stuff for me! Just jeans......ahhhh

Shari, I'm with you. Since we've retired to the countryside of the Black Hills, all I wear are jeans, my boots - even in the hot summer we've been having. It's hard to do outside work in anything else. Even when I go to town I don't care if my jeans or shirt are dirty - it just shows that I've been working hard. I also just throw on my favorite, but worn cowboy hats and I'm off to town in my pick-up truck. Come fall and winter, it's flannel shirts on top of a long sleeved t-shirt. Had a funeral and a wedding this summer, so had to make a special trip into the big city and find a dress and a fancy suit. Couldn't wait to get back into my jeans afterwards. And when I find a pair of jeans that fit - I buy at least two or three pair of them. To me there's just nothing else to wear than jeans.

Peace and love.

I wear capri's most days, jean or khaki. Winter wear is usually khaki or jeans. Too hot in summer for long pants around here. I actually wear capri's through half the winter. I am just so hot natured. At 52...gee, wonder why?

Yes, I wear jeans! I haven't wore jeans for years but after I attended in March a Cowgirl College in AZ, I wear them everyday! Summertime I just roll the legs up a couple times! I seem to see many woman wearing them like that. I thought I would never wear jeans again but now it's hard to see me without them!

I've been a blue jeans girl for most of my life, much to the dismay of my mother, who wanted me to dress in frills... yuck!

Now, my daily wear is blue jeans, t-shirt, and boots. If it's cool, I'll throw on a denim shirt. If I have to go to town, I put on CLEAN jeans and a western-style shirt.

Ever since I found Wal-Mart makes jeans for "full-sized" women... I'm in hog heaven... at less than $20 a pair, I own several.

Don't forget the cowboy hat... I just don't go out without it.

My jeans and I are best friends! Down here in the South, they are too hot to wear during the summer, so I wear blue jean shorts and sleeveless shirts every day, except to work and church. I'm fortunate -- I can wear jeans to work, and at early service, we are really casual, so I can wear them (nice ones!) to church, too. I do own two nice skirts and two nice pairs of slacks, for weddings, funerals and dressy occasions, but I am SOOOO glad that doesn't happen very often in my world! My jeans are loose fit and hit my waist -- I'm really a fairly conservative dresser, and don't have the figure for the new low-cut jeans. But, I love 'em, and wear them every day!

I only own jeans too as far as pants go. When I worked I wore alot of hemp drawstring skirts. Now that I'm home I live in pajama pants that I buy at the thrift store. They are comfy for everything-especially gardening. With low jeans-your bum shows while you garden-quite a show for the neighbors!!!!I do have to throw jeans on if I run to the store tho!!! We are lucky here on the coast-it doesnt get too terribly hot. I don't even own shorts anymore! Drawstring capris are comfy on the hottest day!

I do wear jeans but this summer has been so hot, you can find me in shorts or capris. In the winter, sometimes I also wear sweats.

May God bless those who love the soil,

Yep. All the time. After I get home from the office, I put on my jeans and flip flops. I have 10 pair of jeans, all the same kind. I learned my lesson the hard way when I bought a pair a few years ago from American Eagle, loved them to death and the silly company "resized" them to fit tiny skinny minny girls. This time, these jeans will last me!

I love jeans with high heeled boots and pretty brocade jackets or velevet blazers for the autumn. So easy and stylish!

My Levi's with the bit of spandex are perfect everyday wear. I also love the pull on workout pants and a white t-shirt. I like wearing my collection of rayon tie dyed and batik caftan tops with my jeans. They are one size fits most...total comfort and can be casual or dressy

blue jeans - is there anything else? I will always wear jeans. They are very comfortable and the most comfortable are when they are naturally worn out!
