I have had this little bank since I was two years old and he has never been completely full...until now. I'm so excited, I have to make this a public event. If you all will humor me, please.
I've been adding pennies (pennies only, no silver change) for the last 4 years. How many pennies do you think Pooh can hold? Send in your guesses and when I've got the pennies all rolled I will do the big reveal.
Seems like there ought to be a prize involved...I will pick out something nice at the farm market this weekend. |

Posted - Aug 25 2007 : 10:32:45 AM The package came today I can't post photos at the moment or I would she sent real cute vintage looking Pooh bear postcards and a jar of purple raspberry preserves 4 oz. The glass jar is adorable that the jelly is in all very sweet. Looks like the post office had problems getting it to me as the box was all crushed but nothing inside was thank you and thank you for the card commenting on my daughter that was sweet of you.

Posted - Aug 13 2007 : 10:00:40 AM OK. It looks like the winner is...sunshine, with $25.97. The actual amount was $26.29. I wasn't expecting it to be more than $15, so I am excited! I am saving up for a new camera and these penny rolls are going straight to the bank. And so now I know how many pennies Pooh will hold. Thanks for playing, everybody! Sunshine, send me your address and I will mail you a little prize. |

Posted - Aug 10 2007 : 05:28:32 AM Thanks for your guesses! Keep them coming! A couple of people have asked me the dimensions of the bank. I haven't measured, but he's approximately 12 (h) x 6 (w) inches. I put the book in the picture to give an idea of his size, but for that to work you need to know that it's a normal size book (not a child size or mini book).
I'm sure hoping that he turns out to hold closer to $31.02 than $2.87. But maybe I'm just being optimistic too. |
