I am so addicted to making those bath soaks that I am selling at the Farmer's Market and the Co-op here in town. I am going to order another _case_ of milk bottles!! I think that is 48 or something?

I just did a new scent today! Peppermint! But for some reason it smells like chocolate chip mint ice cream? There isn't any chocolate in it, but even Doug says it smells like chocolate mint!!

And Rose!

And soon I am going to do lilac!

Someone stop me before I forget what an unscented bath is like, because you know I have to test all of them on myself before I can sell them (teehehehe!)

Hi Jessie!
There is an old dairy that went out of business in 2001 in the next town over. I am helping the family sell off the milk bottles because they are really neat and the family is struggling with some health issues/ limited income/ and a huge investment in these bottles. Here are some links to some other threads about the milk bottles:

Kay-
I am selling them online by clicking the web address that you see in my signature or by emailing me. Thanks for asking!

Alee,
Sounds like a yummy business venture! Where do you find those cool milk bottles? My mil collects different types of bottles and I think she might like those.

Hi Kay!

Yes, I was concerned about the peppermint as a bath soak for that reason, but I didn't have any problems with that. It didn't even feel "cool". I know a lot of the commercial foot soaks and such contain menthol which can burn. I think because not much essential oil is needed to create the rich bath environment it doesn't get concentrated enough to burn. Even Nora liked the mint bath water! She kept trying to drink it! LOL

Alee -- it sounds like you're having so much fun! Isn't it great to create something of your very own? This is how I feel about making soap. I don't really sell that much but just keep making it anyway -- just because I love to do so. Are you putting your things online??

It probably smells like mint chocolate chip ice cream because of the peppermint and milk. Peppermint can be very "refreshing" to certain private parts of the body so be careful when using it in your bath. Ask me how I know!!

Alee,

Sounds like a sweaky clean addiction at that!! I know, I know, very corny But I couldn't resist! I can just see your closets, tables, top of frig, and everywhere in between lined up with those precious milk bottles.

I totally understand the addiction..Mine is vintage fabric, sewing patterns, notions, ribbons, machines...I just gotta have it around me!

Could be very dangerous for women to go around smelling like chocolate-chip mint ice cream. Let me know if you master pumpkin pie. LOL. Or beer, corn nuts, and football. Ew, scratch that idea. Oh, cherry pie and ice cream bath soak. Alee, you'll be a millionaire in no time! You might have to move into the half-gallon jugs. :)

We make a difference.
