Summer is in full swing and boy it's HOT! Since the thirft store swap awhile back was such a hit and fun too, I'm keeping my word and having a yard sale swap while we still have yard sales to go too! So, if you want to join in on the yard sale swap, just post here that you want to be added and then send me a email with your name, addy and screen name. I'll leave this open for one week to give everyone time to sign up before I pair us up. This will be a one on one swap, you can email each other to get ideas on what kind of goodies you like, so we don't get anymore junk! lol This will be fun and a good excuse to check out those yard sales! lol

No worries! Send it along whenever you have a chance. :D I am hoping for a few good sales as I have been a bit disappointed this summer :( But it is hit or miss, hopefully a few more treasures will surface on Saturday! :D

Time to update girls, has everyone gotten their new found treasures? We want to hear all about it, the yard sale season is almost coming to a end, and I for one, am still working on mine to Alee, but don't be shy to brag on your swap and fill us in. We all should be just about ready to wrap this up so contact your partner if you need more time. I hope you all have enjoyed this swap, I should of started it sooner but it has been fun!!

I love going "teasure hunting @ yard sales & Thrift Stores.
My mom who lives in Palm Desert, Calif., is addicted too! If she comes across something she thinks I might like she will call me right then & there to see if I want her to buy it. She is the "Queen" of Yard Sales!
Not to mention a really kool mom!.

That reminds me to post here that my yard sale swap from Julie was a small red pyrex refrigerator dish from the 50's. Very cute, very useful, and it matches the mixing bowl set handed down from my mother in law.
Thanks, Julie! I'm glad I made such a lucky choice on the linens. I haven't shipped out that basket cane to you yet, but I am planning to go to the PO on Saturday.

I got my yard sale goodies from Aimee last Wednesday, and I had to squeal with delight! She found some napkins that Perfectly match a luncheon set given to me years ago by an aunt. She also picked up a couple of other pieces of linen that are gorgeous. As I love to collect antique and vintage linen, her choices were absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much, Aimee. And girls, count me in for the next one! This was fun.

I received my wonderful treasures from mima a few weeks back and posted pictures on my strawberry hills blog. It is so amazing what we all find and equally amazing what people are getting rid of.

Oh Kim,
glad you liked all the goodies....yard~saleing~shopping is truly hit or miss...but it's still fun. You never know when you are going to find that "1 thing" that will give you grin factor to the 10th power!
DH & I are off to the quilt store and then off to the lumber yard...so we both get to have a little fun.

Dearest Grace, What can I say but WOW!!! I think I got the whole sale in my box!! My very favorite were the hankies and all the other goodies will come in handy too for crafting and relaxing. I received it on Wednesday and my computer had crashed on Tuesday thus the delay in expressing heart felt appreciation. I'm at the library now catching up. I'm still shopping for yours. Julie (plantationparadise) and I shopped together one week-end but came up empty handed. Today is cooler and fall is in the air, so I think I'll have better luck, but how will I ever match yours? Impossible! But I'll have fun trying.
