Off to Yellowstone tomorrow! My 2nd dd won a trip through Radio Disney, so she, my eldest dd, my niece and I are going on that! We are staying at the Old Faithful Inn, she gets an Ipod, a GameCube, and a chance at $1000.00 plus the hotel, rental car and airline tickets! Even a few meals have been thrown in!

yeah!

Talk to you later!

Many years ago when my parents had just bought their brand new Dodge Intrepid, we drove it to Yellowstone. As we were driving along all the cars in front of us were swerving into the other lane and then going back- There was a HUGE bull buffalo walking one foot in front of the other along the line on the side of the road. It looked like he was doing a field sobriety test! LOL Anyway my dad didn't move over and didn't move over and as we drove by the bull got mad and started to swing it's head to gore the car- just as my dad swerved. We about had a buffalo sized hole in the back passenger car door!

We loved the whole Yellowstone/Teton area. Were you there during the afternoon traffic jams (buffalo walking down the road) They slobbered all over our windows. DD was laughing hysterically at those gigantic black tongues.

Oh, I'd love to read your Yellowstone stories. I haven't been yet, but it is on my life list. Care to share your stories?

We make a difference.

I love Yellowstone. I saw a white wolf there soon after they were released. It was amazing!

We did see one black wolf on the Lamar river. A grizzly close to there as well.

I really didn't want to come back!

More later - gotta get hubby back off to work today, etc.

Welcome back. DH and I love the Grand Tetons - that's where he proposed to me 14 years ago - in front of Jenny Lake early in the a.m. The lake was smooth as glass at the time. We actually prefer the Tetons over Yellowstone. But it's gorgeous contry out there. And yes about the airport.

Peace and love.

We're back. Had a lovely time! And the scenery is of course fabulous - loved Grand Tetons as well. The Jackson Hole airport seriously needs to expand - at least for the summer! Will write more later.

Enjoy the trip! Yellowstone should be lots of fun this time of year! And the Old Faithful Inn is a great piece of history! Lots of fun! I hope you make time to see the mud pits! And if you get a chance to drive around in Wyoming a little bit- head down to Thermopolis and go swimming. They have the world's largest hot springs there and they pipe the water into some swimming pools. They have water slides and hot tubs and such.
