Posted - Aug 03 2007 : 5:09:14 PM Sherri, there is a major fire right outside of St Marie's, Id. Is your son living there yet? Just concerned. 100 acres, looks like southwest of St Maries, that is all the info for right now. Carol Sue

Posted - Aug 03 2007 : 10:29:46 PM I looked it up on Google Earth and it is quite a ways from Joey's. Thanks for keeping your eye out though. Fire a little closer might scare those squatters off their property! |

Posted - Aug 03 2007 : 10:03:22 PM Hi - just got home from my "Meet and Greet' and saw your message. No, he's not living there yet - the squatters are still there - it's tough to get them out. I'm not sure where Shay Hill is, but I know their property is south of St. Maries, by Fernwood. I'll have to look it up on the map. Thanks for letting me know - I'll make sure they know. It's DIL's 30th birthday tomorrow and we're supposed to get together to go roller skating. I'd hate to have to give her bad news about their place. Thanks again and thinking of and praying for all of those affected. |

Posted - Aug 03 2007 : 8:04:40 PM Oh Man! I should have kept my mouth shut! The other day I was saying how wonderful it is that northern Idaho hasn't been ravaged by too much fire this year. I hope the people over b y Shay Hill are okay and the fire gets put out quickly.
I always feel a bit torn about fires. I love how they cleanse the forest naturally, but I hate these "modern" fires that burn so hot and fast because of all the built up fuel from us always putting fires out!
