There are so many new Farmgirls I thought this would be fun to do again. I searched the archives and have attached it below because I wasn't sure how to reactivate the original post. I was shocked that it had been 2 years!!!
Hey Farmgirls, are you all as curious as me about each other? I can gather snippets of info. about each of you from different posts, but I'm always wishing I knew more. The following is alittle fill-in-the-blank that I used in my scrapbooking classes. A great ice breaker and Moms would use it with their children at different ages...can be quite funny and makes a cute page. Anyway, I thought if we used it here it'd be a fun way to learn more about each other and the things we have in common. Here it is. I hope some of you want to play!

I AM CRAZY ABOUT - My husband, my kids, my friends and family, my animals, my neighbors and my farmgirl lifestyle
I ALWAYS - Thank God for all of the above
I NEVER TIRE OF - reading, cooking, being creative, and spending time with my hubby, (now that we are technically empty nesters), and being courted by my hubby. Ain't romance grand?
I CAN CONSUME - farm fresh veggies, farm-raised beef and just plain good food shared with great friends
I WEAR - shorts, sleeveless shirts and tennies in the summer, jeans, flannel shirts over long-sleeved tees and ankle boots in the winter (all six days of it that we have here in the South!)
I LIKE - life; weaving, refinishing old furniture, daydreaming, antiquing/junking, spending time with friends, baking, decorating, farming, gardening, just about everything. I'm ALWAYS open to meeting new friends and seeing new places I LOVE TO
THE BEST THING ABOUT ME IS - I've learned to listen and be a good friend, yet I'm not a high-maintenance friend or person.

I AM CRAZY ABOUT... my gorgeous husband, Tim; my family; my adorable dog, Kyle; God and my faith; my hobbies.
I ALWAYS... procrastinate. Been doing it since I was old enough to do it on purpose and I'll probably never stop.
I NEVER TIRE OF... laughing. I love to laugh and love to make people laugh. I can usually find humor in anything and we spend half of our day in the HR office in tears due to laughing so hard.
I CAN CONSUME... more cheese than the state of Wisconsin can produce. I am a cheese-a-holic.
I WEAR... a uniform (work pants, polo shirt) at work, long skirts and Dansko Mary Janes outside of work, and shorts/t-shirts/barefoot at home. I think that bras should be banned, by the way.
I LIKE... romance. Whether it be in books or movies or on TV, I am a SUCKER for romantic stories! (One of my favorite "couples" is Christy Huddleston and Dr. Neil MacNeill in the "Christy" series - I'm all about star-crossed lovers.)
I LOVE TO...daydream. I'm writing a book and often sit and daydream about what I want to happen in my novel. I also daydream about the future log home we are going to live in.
THE BEST THING ABOUT ME IS... I'm honest, dedicated, independent, and loyal.

okay, i'll give this a try:
i'm crazy about: being a stay at home "omie", my grandkids are the light of my life!
i always:drink coffee in the morning and catch up on the farmgirls
i never tire of: the farm and trying to come up with ways to improve it
i can comsume:unfortunately the list is long and growning, chocolate, hamburgers, steak ,potatoes, ice cream with potatoe chips,zucchini cookies, carrot cake , etc,etc,etc,
i wear:layered clothing, tank tops, pants or skirt and a domestic goddess apron or 2. i feel naked without my dg apron on.
i like: people that are authentic even if they arent pc. i like artist/crafters/musicians/ i like folks that are not bullies and would rather walk away from a fight than keep one going. (unless there is a real cause to fight for and then i'll be there with ya)
i love to; create things and come up with new ways to use things that might normally be discarded. i love to share ideas with my grandkids and watch them create and get excited about the farm or something that doesnt require anything besides their imagination.
the best thing about me:i have no intentions that are hidden, what ya see is what ya get.
i'm not gamey. i'm loyal.
there that wasnt so bad, in fact it was fun.
now i'm ready to read some more about ya'll.

I ALWAYS.. kiss my dh in the morning and at night, tell my kids Ilove them all the time
I NEVER TIRE OF...being in the saddle, this forum,
I CAN CONSUME...anything that is fried, vegetables straight from the garden, homemade bread, a good margarita
I WEAR... mostly jeans, tee shirt but always have on boots
I LIKE... homemade things, bluegrass music, riding my horse bareback when the sun is setting.
I LOVE TO... barrel race, wake board, gardening, sew, crochet, ride 4-wheelers, get mud between my toes.
THE BEST THING ABOUT ME IS... play the piano, the best thing about me is I'm blessed with friends.

I AM CRAZY ABOUT...my family, gardening and getting new garden catalogs, birds, NFL Football, nature
I ALWAYS...drink my tea outside to watch the sun rise(even at -20), park my butt on the couch on Sunday afternoons during football season, put my hair in braids on the weekends to keep it out of my way, go to work with a smile 'cause everyone I meet during the day needs it, hug and kiss my dh, children, grandson and dogs every day I see them, wear cotton socks, appreciate and pray for our men and women in the military.
I NEVER TIRE OF...new shoots in spring, blazing colors in fall, the mountains, birdsongs, gardening, shoveling snow, working in my yard, watching/hearing thunder and lightning, fireworks, military jets flying overhead (doesn't happen very often), fire trucks going by.
I CAN CONSUME...too much chocolate, any seafood daily (except oysters and sushi), everything that comes out of my garden, fresh corn on the cob for dinner and nothing else.
I WEAR...jeans/sweats, long skirts, button down shirts, sweaters with turtlenecks, long johns in winter, cotton socks (with wool socks over them when hunting or skiing).
I LIKE...Mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob the same day it is picked, cobalt blue glass, all flowers, all animals, the simple things.
I LOVE TO...sit in my porch swing under the shade of my ash tree, listen to my dh and daughter sing, watch the sun rise, watch hummingbirds vie for a spot at the feeder, watch a football game when my team (Buffalo Bills) is playing dh's team (Denver Broncos), sing in church, walk/hike through the forest alone, swim in the creek, hunt elk, go fishing, garden (play in the dirt), find new rocks for the yard/garden.
THE BEST THING ABOUT ME IS...this part is hard...I'm very grounded and believe that while I'm a realist I'm also an optimist.

I AM CRAZY ABOUT... my family, my new sweetie, my animals, my bike
I ALWAYS...make a latte and go online as soon as I get up! Then I hike with my dogs behind the house for at least 1/2
I NEVER TIRE OF... peanut butter, riding my bike, being in touch with friends, hearing my childrens voices...oh I could go on and on there are so many things that delight me
I CAN CONSUME... peanut butter, chocolate, fresh baked bread and butter, indian food, mexican food, barbeque, coffee, veggies
I WEAR...sporty scoop neck t-shirts and jeans (winter) , capri's (in between) shorts (summer)
I LIKE...cottage style, english country, anything old, the woods, the mountains...all the seasons in New England
I LOVE TO...dream, to ride my bike, hike, embroider, sew, paint furniture, cook, read, hang out with my family and friends

I ALWAYS... day-dream, plan, & learn
I NEVER TIRE OF... learning, spending time with my DH, hanging out with my girlfriends, the sound of true happy laughter, watching other's dreams come true, a happy ending, sparkles of joy in other's eyes, eyes that speak, smiles, discoveries, shooting stars, cuddling by the fire in winter, hiking in Autumn, cloud watching & hamocks & picnics in the summer, the smell of rain & flowers and seeing new babies in spring, dreaming, sweet and happy memories.
I CAN CONSUME... fresh fruit, ice cream, cold water, old fashioned lemon aid, and sandwiches

I AM CRAZY ABOUT... reading, scrapbooking,my children, my husband, patriotism, God, family, music, chocolate, PWOC, old homes and romance.
I ALWAYS...check my email in the morning, read before bed, kiss my husband before going somewhere (when he's home), enjoy my friends, hug my kids.
I NEVER TIRE OF...good food and good conversation, learning new things, history, pictures, the flag waving in the breeze, men in uniform (hubby!), hymns sung in harmony, my children's laughter, God's grace, brides and babies.
I CAN CONSUME... enough chocolate for three people! Lots of chips and salsa over cream cheese, eis wine!, racclettes, salmon, etc,etc,etc.
I WEAR...Jeans and polo shirts, flip flops, denim skirts, capri pants, -- I love rockies and ropers but don't have any that fit right now! Would enjoy making some old fashioned Anne of Green Gables type skirts and blouses, Civil War, other eras.
I LIKE... old fashioned, simple things. Mysteries. Tea parties and a good cup of tea in the morning (we have tea for breakfast every Sunday morning).
I LOVE TO...decorate, make others happy, dance, swing, laugh, watch a good movie.
THE BEST THING ABOUT ME IS... my willingness to help others, compassion for others, ability to see the bigger picture (sometimes!), stick to!
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!

I CAN CONSUME...pots of lobster, shrimp, clams & oysters. I miss the seafood on the east coast.

WOW! Thanks ya'll for playing! It is fun isn't it! It's so funny in my mind's eye I see you all as young. Then you talk about your grans and I can't believe it. Proves one thing - our spirits don't age.
Corinne - I hope everything went smoothly concerning your permit to drive. I'm sure that's an interesting experience in another country. Thinking about you too and sent you an email.
Aunt Jenny! I just rediscovered cottage cheese about 6 months ago. Before that I used it mostly in recipes, now I'm eating it everyday. I must need the calcium and protein. And kids b-day parties - well, those are some of my favorite memories of my 4 growing up.
Frannie - I always love the way you talk so sweet about "hunky Hank".
Carol Sue - peanut butter and pickles? I love 'em both, gonna have to try 'em together now! Love the vision of you singing and dancing...LOUD!

I AM CRAZY ABOUT... Moose, Nature / Outdoors, Family, Friends, Quiet Time and Life in general..
I ALWAYS... notice the small stuff and smile.
I NEVER TIRE OF... nature, crafting (crocheting, knitting, sewing, cooking, gardening etc etc etc.)
I CAN CONSUME...a gallon of sweet tea a day.....
I WEAR... oh my shorts and a t-shirt whenever possible, but jeans, skirts, sandals, boots, nail polish, mascara, lipstick, my wedding ring
I LIKE...everything and everyone, even the grumpy people. They are fun to agitate.
I LOVE TO... go for long walks in the woods, cook holiday meals, make people smile.
THE BEST THING ABOUT ME IS...my sense of humor. I can find the good in everything. My cup is always half full!

I ALWAYS...check and double check all the doors and windows to make sure they are locked before I go upstairs to bed each night!

This is a great thread; I am learning just why it is I like you all so much.....we all have lots in common!!
I AM CRAZY ABOUT...my family (sometimes driven crazy BY my family!)
I ALWAYS...read the Bible after breakfast.
I NEVER TIRE OF...hearing birdsong, watching the setting sun throw shadow patterns of my lace curtains onto the brick fireplace, checking the garden in spring for new shoots poking through the ground, seeing trees on fire with brilliant autumn colors, retelling favorite family stories around the dinner table, surveying the Christmas tree in the livingroom lit only by the tiny white lights on the tree and candleglow.
I CAN CONSUME...my weight in one of my girlfriend's guacamole recipes, or my mother's turkey stuffing, caesar salad and eggplant parmesan.
I WEAR...earrings and perfume every day, and feel undressed without them! Jeans, comfy sweaters, birkenstocks, long skirts. Can wear some items of clothing out, and I mean out!
I LIKE...to cook, to make bread and smell it baking, to have my family and friends over for a nice meal, to sit on the front porch and watch the rain fall, to daydream, visit new places, wake up to a snowy wonderland (REALLY rare!).
I LOVE TO...read, knit, make pottery, stumble across a great deal on something I would love to have, to learn a new skill, and find a good friend.
THE BEST THING ABOUT ME IS...my sense of humor, and my sense of wonder at the beauty of nature.

I AM CRAZY ABOUT...my family
I ALWAYS...have to say "I love you" to my loved ones in the house before I can sleep and before we leave for the day
I NEVER TIRE OF...this forum!
I CAN CONSUME...huge amounts of chocolate and ice cream!
I WEAR...the same clothes forever and my great great Aunt's apron
I LIKE...Egyptian Arabian Horses
I LOVE TO...spend time on farms and ranches
