Today was La Center Days in our little town. It's the yearly festival with entertainment, vendor booths, good food, and city wide garage sales. Missy, Patti, and I got started about 9:30. I came home with lots of treasures and only spent $20.50!

Food processor -- $2
Small wicker table for my front porch -- $10
Enamelware roaster -- .50
3 cookbooks including Aunt Bee's Mayberry Cookbook -- $1
A box of canning jars -- $1
8 Bible study books and a devotion Bible -- $5
Joe Box pajama bottoms for Steph -- $1

I actually spent another $60 and got a Hoover carpet shampooer that is like new. It even has the brush attachment to shampoo upholstery!

It was a good day!! Love those bargains.

Great finds Kay! I want our town to do something like that! In my home town we called it "Crazy Days" and all the stores had storewide sales and took things out to the sidewalk. They would close off the streets and there would be all sorts of fun food like cotton candy, hot dogs, ice cream stands, little activities for the kids, live music, etc... It was great!
