Thank you again for all the prayers that have ascended on our behalf as we go through the process with Dales melanoma. What a journey!
So far, his blood work, chest x-ray, and CAT scan have all come back clear. Praise God! When we met with the DR. she said she was please that there was a 4mm margin around the tumor removed that was clear of cancer. Again, Praise God!
However, always one of those, because of how deep the tumor was, there is a chance that it drained into the lymph system. So,this Friday morning, he has a PET scan to determine if there is any negative activity.
PRAYERS, PRAYERS, PRAYERS!!!!
Thanks, Julia

In case you didn't see, I made another post to let you all know that Dale's PET scan came back clear,Praise God! He will have to go in to have some more tissue removed, but the cancer was contained in the tumor removed. We are so grateful for all the prayers. Thanks!

Julia how very ture, speaking of the good things of the Lord while in the midst of the ugly of life. That is comforting to me as well.
You and your husband will continue to be in our prayers and your aunt and uncle as well. Peace to each of your hearts as you travel on this journey. May you continue to be held in His arms and His grace. May you speak of love and what it truly means and enjoy and cherish each moment that you have.
You have faced your fears and now can walk on. That truly is God's grace. Thank you for being open and sharing with us so we can particapate in the journey.

Oh the comfort I get every time I read your wonderful messages. It really is a help!
Dale's PET scan went well for him. We won't know the results till next week. AHHH, more waiting.
On our way home we stopped to see my aunt and uncle. He is dealing with Esphogus (spell?) cancer. It was a real blessing to us to hear them speak of the good things of the Lord in the midst of the ugly of life. What a journey we are on!

Sweet Julia, I'm surrounding you and your beautiful family with peace, healing (which comes in many ways), love and strength. I'm seeing all these things wash through you and become part of you, knowing that God's love is with you all the time, regardless of appearances.

Sending my love, too.

Thanks girls! We did learn the other day the cold, hard facts of Dale's cancer. His being a level four, and being melanoma, pretty much means, that even if his PET scan comes back clear, the cancer will in all probability, a high probability will come back, there is no cure. We talked about it, had our tears together, yet we both knew it in the back of our minds, but I guess neither one of us were ready to deal with the reality of it.
I truly believe that God can do a miracle and completly heal Dale.
I truly believe that God will see us through this no matter what the outcome.
I truly believe that God will give us what we need to gloify Him in this, and that He will help us learn what we need to help others.
I also truly believe that we can't get through this without the continuing prayers of everyone. Thank you for your prayers, we are blessed and honored!

Sending prayers your way; keep the positive outlook, and keep us informed, and make sure you take good care of yourself too. Stress can be very draining. Hugs, Nance

I'm praying for Dale and for you, as well as for his doctors as they read tests and decide on what to recommend as a course of action.
