I made some needle keepers last winter when our power was out for days on end. I sewed by lantern light and it makes me proud of women of days gone by. So I decided to try pin keepers. This time with electricity. Whew!! I know my mind is warped.
They are posted on my strawberry hills blog. MB

MB,
Now stop, you are getting way to creative. How cute is that frog,he looks a lot like Kermit, just more on the gray side. Maybe a cousin from Kermits Mother's side.

Just darling pin keepers. Isn't it amazing how we take such things for granted - like it's always going to be there and then we don't have it. But happy to see you were productive and made such cute pin keepers.

Peace and love.

Hey Mary Beth,

Love the pinkeepers...working by lantern certainly gives a great appreciation for electricity, doesn't it..LOL

I'm very fond of my air conditioner right now

Anyway, I also wanted to ask you to post the pinkeeper picture in the "Stitching" section of the forum...this is an ongoing gallery to show off your pinkeepers.

i love your pinkeepers, they are really sweet, and i love that you made them under "primitive" conditions. it does make us stop and think and marvel at our sisters in the past and ....how did they do it?
thanks for sharing with us.
