I am asking for prayers from those of you who are praying people.

I have had trouble with my legs for over three months now. It started with some sort of infection which seems to have settled in my pelvis and right hip and down the right leg. The pain is intense, and I have been living on ibuprofin. I just kept thinking it would go away.

I am trying to get in with my doctor, but I live in a rural area. He is a country doctor and sort of blew me off for years before I developed full blown cancer a few years back. There really is no one else to go to for starting out. I ahve tried all sorts of alternatives with no relief.

So, I am praying for an open mind and good care from him and a referral for help if that is where I need to go. Please pray for guidance for me. It sucks to live in constant pain, and I sure pray none of you go through this.

Clare, I'm so glad it isn't cancer and you're starting to get some relief from the herbs/accupuncture. You've been through a LOT. Maybe those needles will be able to go in soon and relief will come faster.

I haven't been so appreciative of my health as when I have had bouts of challenges.
You sure don't take anything for granted after that. Will continue to keep praying for answers and relief for you.

Hi, Corinne. Yes, I am taking a flower essence right now. It is my own personal remedy, made up by a nauropath after answering a slew of questions. Actually, since I saw her last week, I take less ibuprofen during the day and sleep better at night, the 4 ibuprofen before bed seem to work well. I never thought it might be the flower essence helping.

I am just grateful for choices and the blending of whatever works. My friend can't understand why the herbs are not dissolving the stagnation, but it is less than two weeks on them. I am patient. She can't get the needles in the right side still. However, the herbs are helping with some other issues I have had since surgery. So, all is good in my book. Any improvements is wonderful. I felt like I hit rock bottom with so much pain and medicine not helping.

Sleeping has been a huge help!!! I will NEVER take sleep and pain free body for granted again!!!!

Clare, it is so good you do not have cancer.
I had chinese medecine treatment and herbs for several bouts of liver mal-function, and it helped a lot. For some emotional help, have you ever tried "Bach flowers" remedies ? The RESCUE is specifically an ally of mine, just seems to soothe the mind away from pain. And it is made with flowers essences, and a drop of alchool as a stabilizer. You find it in Health stores or in some pharmacies. I prefer the drop bottle, easier to use. I give it to the cats as well when they travel or have to go to the vet.
Wishing you strengh and long period without pain, blessings.

Oh Clare: I am so happy this is good news about no cancer! I have been praying like a mantis over this since I read your first post. So now you will find out what is wrong and get the help you need. Do not take a vague answer from anyone. Make sure someone figures it out and helps you.

Love,
Sheryl

Ok, I have a date for the specialist. It is August 21. yes, I know it is a long ways off, but what can I do except go on the cancellation list. So many doctors left PA due to no cap on malpractice lawsuits.

It will be a blessing to be on the path to figuring out what is wrong and how to correct it. thank you, ladies for all the prayers. it has boosted my emotional sanity and helped me tremendously through painfilled nights.

Thank you for the prayers and advice. I saw the gyn oncologist in early June. I had an internal ultrasound and exam and PAP. All is clear. He did not feel the pain was related to any cancer issue. He felt it was related to the toe. This combined with the x-rays to check the bones satifies me that there is no cancer there. Also, it is all timed to the infection with the toe and right foot.

Still waiting to hear back about the Infectious Disease Specialist. the doctor was not i nthe office today, and the nurse was not sure which one he wants to send me to. Tomorrow is another day.

Thank you all for the support. I wrote in feeling so blue and depressed and in pain, and I feel so uplifted that you gals are praying for me. Truly this site has been a boost to me, and I thank you all for your firendship.

Clare, You most definitely will be in my prayers. Advice..... Go directly to your Oncologist. By-pass the local doctor. This is not something to just deal with. You have a history of cancer. This is serious and you must not wait around. Please don't wait.
May God be with you and hold you in the palm of His hand. May he give you the wisdom to do what He wants you to do.
God Bless you my friend.

You know we'll all be praying, Clare. Let us know how the Chinese medicine works for you! That's very interesting. And, hopefully, very helpful.

I had my first acupuncture treatment. It was not painful, but it was intense. My whole left side I could feel the "qi/chi" and o nthe right side, NOTHING!! That in itself was very disturbing. I have blockage as well as deficiency. From the evaluation it sounds like 6-8 weeks of herbs and acupuncture three times a week. The couple told me I should feel better in 2-3 weeks anyway.

I still have lots of pain. I do thank God for pain medication. I guess the antibiotics are not going to be the answer. I am going ostick it out with the Traditional Chinese Medicine for a few weeks and see what happens. I hope I will not need the Speicalist then. If you ca n, please still keep me in your prayers for a little while longer.

You are for sure in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the doctor can help relieve your pain. Maybe he needs a lesson in the golden rule?

Consider it done Clare. Please take care of yourself & see another doctor if this gentleman doesn't take you seriously. Three months is a long time to be in pain. I hope you find the help you need soon.
Blessings,
