Happy 4th everyone! We are going to the parade in town, possibly the lake, fireworks & missing Forest Home in CA - however we usually try to read the Decleration aloud if we can. I received this this morning and thought I would pass it along to you as well....

Well we went to the Parade, (nice and hot) then came home and grilled out hamburgers/dogs/steak with corn on the cob and veggies; then we were going to go to Wamego to the old engine/antique car show, parade and fireworks. However that was rained out - severe thunderstorms in KS yesterday so we actually went to Lenexa to see mil and went to the firworks there with her. While it was a long drive and we got home really late it was a beautiful show and lots of fun for her.

Very interesting. Although I have learned all of that in the past it ws good to be reminded of waht this day means! We are grilling ribs and shooting off fireworks tonight.
