Is anyone in central and western NY planning to attend? If you don't know, the small town of Dundee holds a community wide garage sale day every July. Everybody in town has a sale out on their lawn! I went for the first time last year and I was overwhelmed. Sheer garage sale bliss. It's a quaint little town with a large Mennonite population, so lots of interesting people to watch as well. Almost as many buggies and bicycles on the street as cars.
Here's the best part: my husband and I will have a sale this year! We don't live in Dundee, but we know someone who does. So if you are there, look for me outside the radio station on Main Street. Hope to see you! |
