OMG, OMG, OMG,,,,,guess what happen to me today???? or should I say, guess who I met today???? give up?????
EllynAnne!
A co-worker & I treated ourselves to lunch today at a quaint little resturant, "Cafe' Provencial" and guess who was there???
yep-adoodle, EllenAnne & she was even wearing an apron!
She was giving a presentation to a group from Boarders Book Store.
She had the cutest little vintage luggage that she had filled with aprons from her collection. So way Cool!!!!!
Needles to say, I forgot my manners and squrried over there to tell her I love her book, and that I am a member of MJF and welcomed her to our group of gabby gals! LOL!
Amanda, she mentioned she met you at her presentation up in S.B.
Ladies, she is such a delight, w/a polite, sweet southeren accent.
She and the lady from Boarders Book Store gave my firend a copy of EllynAnne's Apron book, AND,,,,EllynAnne signed bookplates for us to put in our books. She even invited us to sit & join in her presentation, but I did not want to be a pest,,,,good grief, what was I thinking???? And go figure not a camera amongst us, not even a cell phone with a camera!!! Bummer.
What a kool day!
EllynAnne, Thank you so very much, you are truly a gem, & yes, I will "tie one on-aporn of course" when I get up to Spokane Wash.

I told Ellyann briefly about the picture of us in front of the statue with our aprons strung together.
Amanda, did you ever get your pictures downloaded from her speaking engagement? Would love to see them.

Here it is, almost 9pm, 7hours after I met EllynAnne, & I am still boring my DH to tears with my "OMG, I met EllynAnne!" story. He is such a good sport to listen to me ramble on & on.....but my kitties have gone into hiding....hahaha!
