I just wanted me good friends to know I'm alive after the dental surgery. It hurt a little more than I expected and I'm pretty wiped out, but I'm sure I"ll be better tomarrow. Thanks for all your prayers and concerns and I'll talk to you all in the morning. Thanks again Sherri

Wow Kathy! Talk about a way to do away with your fears! Do you know how long it takes for the impant to heal so that they can put in the tooth part?

I don't mind the dentist either. Hated it as a kid so I became a dental assistant and did away with all my fears. Need to have a root canal here pretty soon and don't even mind the thought of that. I've had some extensive work done and will do anything to save my teeth!!
Hugs, Kathy

Sherri-

I hope you get to take a nap today. Our mouths are so amazing and heal so quickly! I bet you will be feeling much much better by tomorrow. I hope your oral surgeon is wrong! Sometimes when teeth have more room, they will tighten back up. Hopefully your molar will stay put!

Well I made it through the night - I wouldn't say comfortably but I made it. I was planning to lie low this morning but the phone rang at 6 am - my DIL asking me to bring them the statement of their balance for my mom's house they purchased. I sold them mom's house to help pay for her care and I'm carrying the contract (for mom) through a contract collection at a bank. They are gettin a home equity loan and they need that statement TODAY!! I love her to death - she is the best thing that ever happened to my son, but why today??? Oh well, I guess it's back in the saddle again.

Oral surgeon told me one of my molars, next to the wisdom tooth he pulled was loose and doesn't have long to live - may it never ends does it. It's really sensitive today - I think it was HIS fault!!! Seemed like he used jaws of life to get that sucker out!

Be back this afternoon. Thanks again for all the good wishes - they truly helped.
