my man has been on a week-long BIKE VIRGINIA trip .. he's on his way home!!! will be here around midnight! gosh, i've missed him like wildfire! i'm usually pretty o.k. at keeping myself busy and occupied .. but he has been on my mind almost constantly!

probably if i'd gone to ohio to be with the grandes i wouldn't have been so lonely!

this is NOT to say that i don't enjoy a few days alone now and then .. it is just interesting to me to be so aware of his absence this trip! only a coupla' hours to go!

i thought when he got in (1 a.m.) .. he'd want to 'hit the bed' and sleep for 16 hours .. he got up early yesterday .. rode his bike 100 miles .. got in his truck .. drove for 14 hours (with a one hour stop at a Civil War Battlefield) ... but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo .. he wasn't sleepy! actually, there warn't no foolin' aroun' goin' on .. cuz' he was all 'hopped up' on CAFFEINE .. we stayed awake for another hour or so while he regaled me with tales of his trip!

HE's STILL sleepin' this mornin' though!!!

Glad you missed him and glad honey hunk will be there soon. I miss my dh but he isn't rarely gone, it is me that goes on a quilt retreat or visits my folks. It is sweet to come home.

Enjoying the moments.

Frannie-

I am so glad your hunny hunk is coming home. Have I ever told you that I love your nick name for him? :)

I always appreciate my guy more after we've been apart for a week or so. Why is that?
