MJ gave me permission to let you all know... she took pictures of the 3 baskets and the bell that she bought from me and she's going to use them in her next book "Outpost"! Ahhhhhhhhhh! I am so excited and happy and I feel so honored I could scream, jump up and down and cry at the same time. I just can't keep this to myself. This is such a big deal to me. My stuff, these baskets that I have so much fun making, are going to be in a book. And not just ANY book - but one of MaryJane's books!

You know, you gals are just the best. Any time somebody needs a boost, they can get it here. I never really thought that my baskets were all that great. I liked them, I just thought they were ok. They were just something fun and different to do with gourds; a way to while away the winter hours; an affordable (free) way to give gifts for Christmas. While all my friends and husband have been telling me they're good, I couldn't help but feel that they were biased anyway. But you gals don't have that bias and I'm getting such great comments from you! You sure know how to make a gal feel good. Thank you all.

Thank you all so much. Yes, Elizabeth, I do sell them, though my success has been VERY slow in coming. I am currently working on taking pictures of them individually so I can attach a price to each one on my blog. My best friend, Rose, is really pushing and won't let me wait until I get a camera of my own. She's been letting me use her camera. Then she has to download the pics and email them to me. So I will have prices on my blog soon. Nancy, my price range starts at about $45 for small ones and up to $400 for the biggest one. I try to keep a wide range so that most folks can afford one if they wish. I was even thinking about doing a layaway program to help folks get what they really want without going broke.

Thank you all again for the compliments. I am on cloud 9.

Can't wait for her next book and how cool for you that your creations are gracing the pages, too! I bet I am not the only farmgirl who is interested in knowing what your price range is.......! Keep creating! Nance
