Here I am, sitting in my "new" to me tractor. Actually waiting for the service man to finish up so I can start cutting hay. I was able to finish cutting, and the tractor worked great. Next is round baling.

Posted - Jun 24 2007 : 1:54:14 PM Ah....but Janet...my son-in-law says that the ones they sell at other places are not "authentic JD"...I don't know the difference but he does! I just spent 4 hrs bent over in the sun helping a friend harvest for a Monday farmers market....Whew...time for a beer!

Posted - Jun 24 2007 : 12:20:23 PM Yep I want a tractor but my little apartment has a patio so i'm dreaming right now. I do have a little green tractor door stop. If you go to cracker barrell resturants you can get all kinds of john deer geer including hats. not sure cracker barrell's are everywhere but if you can't get to one let me know and i'll see if i can get what you need.

Posted - Jun 24 2007 : 11:55:06 AM My son just about cried when his JD hat finally was tattered beyond wearing. Michele - reminds me of the picture of Julia on her new tractor in the stitchery book! |

Posted - Jun 24 2007 : 04:33:58 AM You are such a farmgrrl icon! My son in law would be jealous...he has been trying to get his hands on a John Deer hat for awhile....dealer says ya get one free if you buy a tractor...but since my DD and hubby live in an house with a small yard they hardly need a tractor!
