its in July in Chicago, is anyone going?
It would be fun to get together, I'm looking into it pretty seriously but really can't make up my mind if I should go, it would be a nice getaway for me but I will miss my little ones so much...

Alee, I can totally understand... little things here and there are going up! We are taking it very easy this summer, no camps or expensive activities... not to mention gas guzzling to get to the activities, we'll be going to the beach (if the weather EVER clears up!) and taking walks to Walmart and the farmer's market, going to our neighbors to use their river access... I am also trying to scavenge materials to make a kiddie outpost modeling the one in the idea book.

I decided to go because I'd really like to take my blogs seriously so I can stay home with the kids and not worry about spending too much. AND I feel that my husband needs to realize what I do on a regular basis... and the truth is, After almost 7 years at home, I am a wee bit burned out. This will be the first (and probably last) time I will leave boy2001 for 3 days! not to mention my two little girls. I'm already having some SEVERE seperation anxiety and welling up with tears thinking about it. :[ I am going to keep an hourly journal of notes to my kids I think, if anyone has any ideas that would be great.

It sounds like fun, but I think my travel budget is all used up for a while. I would have to fly and flying is so expensive right now!

Alee
