I had my sinus surgery Wed. morning. It was a 4 hour surgery! I am still pretty dizzy and groggy, but thought I'd check in. They leave black strings hanging from each nostril for the packing and they taped them to my cheeks . . . looks like a handle bar mustache. My husband has nick-named me the Frito Bandito! LOL! Can't do much yet . . . mostly just sleep or watch the Hallmark channel. The pain is less than I expected though, so that is good.

Hugs & Blessings . . .

Brenda

Thanks for the well wishes. It truly hasn't been that bad. In fact, with enough pain meds on board it becomes quite enjoyable (LOL!) I have had other experiences in life that were much more painful. The worst is being slowed down. I am doing my first sale out of my rented Garage June 22nd and 23rd, so I want to start organizing and getting it going. But no lifting for two weeks. That is the hardest. I am enjoying bossing my hubbie around though! LOL!

Hugs & blessings!

Brenda

Brenda, I'm so very glad it went well. Humor is the best cure. Think we'll have some fritos with lunch in your honor. :)

Oh, gosh! The picture that popped in my mind was of John Travolta in that horrible movie Battlestar Earth. He was some sort of alien creature and had these long tubes coming out of his nose so he could breathe. OK, I'll stop now. Sorry! :) Hope you are feeling better soon!

Hi Brenda....A word of advice, before your appointment to have the packing removed take your pain medication!! My daughter had this done and she said it felt like the doctor was trying to pull her brains out through her nose. Sounds nasty but I thought you might like to know.
Hugs, Kathy
