Starts this afternoon! Yay! We have only a few vendors for our opening day, merely because it's Memorial Day weekend...but more will be joining us in subsequent weeks! I am so excited! i will have a bit of bread made for patrons as well as candles and laundry powder-and some bar soap I took a shot at making a few months back (I have fallen in like with soap making!) and a few other things to start.
We ahve so many sources promoting this so it is very exciting!!

Good for you Tasha! Our farmers market is located on the town square and is such a success every year that we have decided to try selling our surplus veggies there this year. It's really great that you are bringing this type of local support to your area. Rock on Sistah! |

It went so well!!!! We had four vendors (One more than I was expecting!) and will have three more next week! We got a lot of people stopping by who were just thrilled that we have a market now. I made really great sales, too! Everyone did. We have a lot of things happening too, with the market that are collaborations with the local enviro-group, Happy Dancing Turtle.
I am also going to be working with HDT on a few different ventures now too including giving a workshop at the eco squared fair during our county fair, about making your own homemade cleaners....
I am really excited about everything that is opening up and the ideas I have had coming to fruition....so much so much so much is going on now! I am thrilled beyond measure!

Congratulations, Tasha. I know you've worked so hard on this project, and, regardless of how many vendors, it's a great opening weekend! I'd come!
