oh my .. what a lovely time i did have this past week! each year since we turned FIFTY .. my very bet childhood gurlfren and i have gotten together for at least a three day weekend. about five years ago, we started including our husbands .. and this year, for the first time .. we spent a whole week together on a Mississippi Riiver Paddle Boat Cruise.

Grace married right out of high school and moved to Raleigh, N.C. .. and as life often does .. we lost touch with each other for many, many years! Our birthdays are ony three days apart (GRACE BEING OLDER THAN ME!!!!!) Always when we see each other .. it is as if .. we have only been apart a few moments ... we love talking about our child and teen years .. and al we have done right up to our 'grammie-hood'!

This was our SIXTEENTH yearly reunion!

How fun Frannie! Glad you have such a dear friend that goes back to childhood...love the friendship poem! I learned that when I was 7 years old in Brownies!!!! Never have forgotten it!

How blessed you are.
