Hello Farmgirls!

I've been absent for some time on this Forum as I've been working on a very special project. Please take a look at the links below for the story of a very special collective knitting project for a very special friend with breast cancer (surgery is on 5/14/07).

What a great blanket and show of support! I am so glad that there are people like in the world to give support to their friends! I know that going into surgeries and treatments in a positive and supported mind-set can do amazing things for recovery and healing. Your friend is so lucky to have you!

Catherine,
You are so great to have done this for Rebecca - it turned out so well. I'm so glad I was able to participate.

What an amazing project! Such love and friendship in this blanket--and so pretty, too.
What a very poignant way to "stay" with your friend, through all of her troubling times.
I loved the photo of everyone under the blanket--a truer bond could never be more evident.

Oh, Catherine - that is so touching - that blanket will wrap Rebecca in love for sure. You all are such incredible friends. I'll be thinking about her today, sending her love and healing "vibes..."

XOXO, Libbie
