Is that the festival at Rebec? My mom and dad do a B&B package for that weekend and always have a lot of fun at the festival!

Hi Kim, I live in Texas but was in Virginia last week to attend hubby's college reunion at VMI. While I was there I visited Lori Brechlin at Notforgottenfarm in Amherst, right there in Nelson County! Do you know Lori?? What a fun day I had - she is a rughooker, needlepunch designer, doll maker, painter - well, just a talented gal. She was having an open house and I spent several hours with her. I've lived in Texas now for about 33 years but met hubby in Richmond before our move west. Always LOVE my visits back to the beautiful Virginia countryside!! sandi
Nance in France Posted - May 08 2007 : 08:13:29 AM
Greetings, Kim! I live in Norfolk, VA which is about twelve miles from the oceanfront of Virginia Beach. I was so hoping that we VA farmgirls would have a hookup this spring before my husband and I left to go back to France for the summer, but alas, no luck for me. We fly back on Mother's Day. But I will be back in the autumn to spend the rest of the year in Norfolk, so maybe another farmgirl meeting will happen during my next visit. Would love to correspond, if you want, while I am in France, either by 'real McCoy' mail or email! Have a great day!! Nance
