Also thought we would get a few plants for planting outside. yippes!! I think the cost must have gone way up. $17.00 for a flat, same for a hanging basket. We went to three differnt places too. Will be looking around at a few more places before I buy. NANCY JO

Posted - May 06 2007 : 3:38:51 PM Oh my gosh Tina.....what a great haul!!! I LOVE THE BOTTLES!!! I just recently started collecting them myself!! I love them and the cookbooks...you will love the Fanni Farmer book. I learned to cook from that cookbook!!
Everything you got is wonderful. I bet that woman was a farmgirl at heart too!!

2 little girl dresses 2 quail ceramic birds 1 souvenier from Virginia dragonware/luster ware mini pitcher 1 Avon 1988 Mrs. P.F.E. Albee miniature that was awarded to the Avon Reps for good service(sans the ceramic umbrella..darn!) 1 Homer Laughlin Wild Rose china plate..these were given in Quaker Oatmeal boxes in the 1930's 1 antique babies bonnet with lace 1 primitive style handmade basket 8 antique flasks and extract bottles 1 beautiful tan and poppy flower print fabric shower curtain 1 large cake stand with dome 7 cookbooks 1 folk art style framed picture (that matches my other hallway artwork/wallpaper perfectly).

Posted - May 05 2007 : 4:37:11 PM you got a bargin in the spread Nancy. I have one that I need to get back to. It is just like that one . Only I am making mine bigger to go on a round old fashioned table I have. Crocheting pineapples is fun; but there is a lot of work in it isn't Nancy? |
