Frannie,
I wanted to tell you I was not able to make the hanky doll for your weekend. I know that that is disappointing, HOWEVER, I did make a cabin fever doll of sorts and she is on her way to you this very minute, so please keep an eye out for her. She went Priority Mail (nothing but the best for Charity) this afternoon. I did send you an email but don't know if I used the correct email address or not. I surely hope you like her - and she was completely HAND-DID as you specified. Hope you have a great weekend and make lots of moolah for the Breast Cancer Research.

Only one thing I forgot, was to take a picture of her for the Respitorium archives. If you would be so kind as to take a picture, and E-Mail it to me, I'd be ever so grateful. tanks

glad you enjoy it! this coming weekend, one of the editors, TWIGS .. and our friend, Meryl from England and my friend Kathy Sugarbucket) and two more friends, Pamela and Rita and I are all going to have a fun 'primitive' booth at our annual Art in the Alley show here in Greensburg, Kentucky. Any of you gurlz nearby .. stop by for some fun and gossip!

We're all spending the night in one of the cabins by the river in downtown Greensburg .. we're all going to take a trip to Bardstown, Kentucky, to visit Sugarbucket's shoppe .. then back to greensburg .. and after setting up our booth, we'll go to dinner together .. then back to the cabin and probably stay up all night giggling and gossiping and eating chocolate!

After the show on Saturday, Twigs and Meryl will come back to Cabin Creek Farm for another night of merriment.

Wish you could all join us! xo

I just got my copy last week - it takes AGES to get here! But so worth the wait. I would love to get hold of the back issues, but way too expensive for me at the moment. I'll be saving up for them!
Best wishes,
Jayne

farmgirls .. i sent the following to all the gurlfrenz on my 'kentucky ramblings' and 'treasure seekers' lists .. thought i'd extend it to ya'll too!

just e-mail me through the forum if you don't already know my e-mail addy!

+++++++++++++++++++

i thought it would be fun to have a drawing from all my ya-ya's on my lists for a copy of the current issue of the Mercantile Gatherings magazine!

e-mail me (REMEMBER TO GIVE ME YOUR FULL NAME AND E-MAIL ADDY IN THE BODY OF YOUR E-MAIL TO ME!)

there are several ways to get your name in the basket over and over to increase your chances of winning!

(1) simply send me a 'return' e-mail with the above info.

(2) for every NEW friend that you have join either my Kentucky Ramblings or Treasure Seekers list .. i will put your name in the basket for EACH new friend .. and their name will go in too!

(3) if you subscribed to Mercantile Gatherings from my e-mail that i sent a couple days ago .. i'll put your name in FIVE times!

We're leaving for our Mississippi River Boat Cruise next Wednesday .. sooo .. when i get back .. i'll check my e-mails and put your names in the basket and have the drawing around the end of May.

xo, frannie
