I've added two handmade Amish hats to my etsy shop. Fannie made these also. She's the one that made my dolls and she is also working on me another set of dolls. I've also got an adorable amish bonnet pin cushion, but my batteries went dead before I could take a picture of it, grrrr. I also bought some Amish made baskets, but I can't make my mind up, I think I want to keep them, lol.

Yep, I'm going to give it a try. I only have two items posted. The dolls are a bit pricey but they come as a set, and they are beautiful. I have a set just like them in my cabin. She made me two sets and clothes for Grace, one I already had, which most of you have seen on my blog. I hope to add more items this weekend.

Yay Mikki! I am so glad you Etsy shop has already had a purchase! How exciting!

Maybe some day when I get back into making my soaps, furniture polish, lotion bars and sewing I will do one- but right now I would hate to sell something and not be able to deliver.

Do you find the Etsy site easy to use? I really love your bookmarks. Your embroidery is just beautiful!

And to know she played with Daniel is even sweeter. The little girl was all hugged up to the boy doll Daniel. I named Daniel after her brother, he's one of the older boys who built our cabin. And Lydia the girl doll is named after their 6 year old cousin. I will try to get a nice picture of their farm when I go back tomorrow and that way you'll have a picture of their first home, at least where they were born at lol. Have a wonderful weekend. I emailed you earlier.

Thank you so much! I have a funny thing about being drawn to toys and things that people actually use! So knowing that somewhere a little Amish girl is playing with dolls like that make them very very special to me!! I am so excited! Thank you!

Talitha, they are precious. When I went to pick them up a girl about 5 years old came out with Fannie, the girl that made them. The little girl had it all hugged up and I could tell she really liked it. I said I hate to take the doll from her and Fannie said it's ok she has her own. I felt much better. I've noticed a few of their playthings, all homemade of course. A wagon, walking stilts, some things like that. I love to watch them running up the drive coming home from school. They get busy doing there work, but the young ones have time for playing too. Their so sweet to watch.

Mikki,
I LOVED the Amish dolls especially since they were made by an Amish gal!! And the size of 18 inches is wonderful! Could you tell me, do they make these same ones for their children to play with or just to sell to the public?? I would really like to know!! If you could find out for me, that would be awsome!! And as always,
Hugz!
