Hi,

Does anyone know the proper ratio of cornstarch to water to make my own homemade spray starch for ironing? Is it just cornstarch and water, or should I add anything else?
Please share your tips - I want to make sure DH's shirts are crisply pressed.
Thanks!

Hi, Alison! Mix two tablespoons of cornstarch with a pint of cold water and shake it up well in a spray bottle - just use it like you would regular spray starch. It works really well - but watch out for overspraying on dark or black clothing; in fact, I'd spray it on the *inside* of darker laundry and then iron the right side.

XOXO, Libbie
