Posted - Jun 09 2011 : 5:19:53 PM I received one for my birthday about a year ago and I love it! And the funny thing is, it is the only thing that doesn't drive my nose crazy! Even vinegar makes me nauseous. So weird!

Posted - Jun 04 2011 : 3:44:24 PM I love Scentsy! I have a cousin that sells it and she just gave me some of her discontinued scents. My favorite is satin sheets, it last forever! I have tried 2 of the scents from walmat and they didn't last as long. |

Posted - Jun 03 2011 : 8:58:46 PM I love the Scentsy. Now, granted, if you are the uber-natural type, this probably isn't for you, as some synthetic oils are used.

Posted - Jun 03 2011 : 7:45:27 PM I love Scentsy too. Mostly the lemon scent which makes the whole house smell clean. I love pineapple paradise and paradise punch.
CHEAPER version: Wal-Mart is selling a Better Homes and Gardens version of Scentsy. They were really pretty and only cost $15.00 per warmer. Had the replacement bulbs, smaller scent bricks...I have not tried them yet, but what a deal! I did hear the scents are not as strong as Scentsy's.

Posted - May 31 2011 : 5:16:24 PM I love scentsy and use one in my living room all the time.(the early american looking one with the rooster on it) Cinnamon bear is my favorite scent. My kids say that their friends love that our house smells like donuts. Donuts? Oh well. Smells like cinnamon to me..maybe thats the only way they ever smell it...haha

Scentsy uses both synthetic and naturally derived fragrances oils to achieve the highest quality and longest lasting wax bar.

Posted - May 31 2011 : 11:14:30 AM I have a scentsy - one at work, two at home (well, one full-size and one plug-in.) I LOVE THEM!!! I use Mochadoodle at work and it makes my whole library (and part of the hallway) smell. I use Go-go-gogi, Skinny-Dippin, or Jumpin' Jelly Bean at home. I have a relatively smal house - (less than 1000 sq. ft.) and they will make my whole house smell wonderful. I just tried the "fake scentsy" from Wal-Mart. They do well too. They don't melt as completely or as quickly, but the Strawberry Kiwi (two cubes) makes my whole house smell - and it's strong enough my central air will circulate it as well. I have an Ocean Flower something in the bath - one cube will scent the bath and both bedrooms. They are $2.00 a bar, about half the scentsy price, but with out all the choices.
In reference to the fragrance type, I don't know what they use, but people with allergies may want to be aware. I can't tolerate their fragrances with mandarin (reggae sunset & camu-camu etc) or anything with cinnamon, which makes up about 1/3 of their line. They give me extreme headaches - within 10 minutes of being in the room with them. BUT, in their defense, I get the same thing from scented candles. It's just something in the scents, especially in the cinnamons I can't tolerate.
I do highly recommend them. Our schools has even used them for fund-raisers - and made over $4000.00. Oh - and as a bonus - I bought the Nature's Haven warmer for my library. And, in the rush one day, I knocked the top tray off (full of melted wax, no doubt) and broke the bird off and chipped it badly in several places. They replaced the tray (at my expense) but at least you can get parts for them should an accident occur. You can drown a hamster in it (it was done by a 2 year old.) Mom was burning a spa/bath scent and the darling decided to give it bath. Big sister wasn't happy with her when she got home - but on a positive note, the was wasn't hot enough to burn the baby. So, that's a plus...sorta. (That's the only bizarre Scentsy story I've heard, but just in case, keep them out of reach of children!)
If anyone else has tried them, let us know your thoughts and favorite scents!
