Hey ladies,

I'm not sure where I got this idea but I want to share it with you all because it works so well....

If someone forgot to use a coaster on your coffee table and their drink left a water ring simply dry it off and slather on Mayo. I leave it on until the mayo becomes translucent then wipe it off, TA-DA! no more water ring ;)

My Dad and Grandfather were cabinet makers in New Orleans. They always used a paste of cigar ashes to remove water rings.

I've also heard about the mayo, and it was suggested that you mix ashes in with it. I guess the oil in the mayo turns the ring darker, and maybe the ashes help tint it.

Hey Tracie,
I've heard that before, and you are right, it does work!
