I tried this deodorant. It is natural and doesn't contain Alumium and other undesireable ingredients.

It has a fresh, almost green leafy smell. It was 100 degrees yesterday and I didn't find a smell on myself. It is strange to be sweating under your arms, but no smell. So thus far, I am happy with the change.

Denise where do you get the deodorant stone?
I use the Tom's of Maine and it works really well for me.
I have always wondered about using the stone though.

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

Erin-
I use the deodorant stone. It works great for me. My hubby uses one too. They last a very long time. Some people cant use them. They arent too expensive so you should try one to see if it works for you.

I'm glad to hear good reviews about A&H. I agree with you Amanda - I wasn't at all impressed with Tom's of Maine. Has anyone ever tried a deodorant stone? I see them every once in awhile and I'm intrigued, but I've never actually purchased one and tried it. I'd love to hear some thoughts.

How do you keep the wetness from showing? I don't mind using the deoderants and have tried several different natural ones, but I don't like the "circles of sweat" under my arms. Makes me very self-conscious about raising my arms in public.

I did notice that after using the deoderant for a while, that when I went back to the anti-perspirant that I felt hotter all over. I really think that being able to sweat, no matter how unsightly, makes a difference in body temperature.

Alee- Thank you so much for the information. I went and looked at my deodorant and sure enough there it was. Most of my baking dishes are glass. But I will be very careful from now on.

Pamela- Most leading research links exposure to aluminum such as through baking dishes, pop can, and deoderant to an increased likelihood and severity of Alzheimers. Most doctors say that if you have someone in your family who has Alzheimers then you should try to be proactive in ridding your life of aluminum.

I love the smell and have been sharing it with my husband for awhile..so far no one in the office has noticed. It's the only 'major' brand of deodorant that I've found without the Aluminum.

I have been trying out several deoderants. Thanks for the tip. I can tell you that Tom's Naturals did NOTHING for me besides cheat me out of 5 bucks!!!

I love A & H deodorant. I have used it for years. I suppose Amy, you could circumvent the stinging by eliminating shaving? Just a little humor...

The only drawback is it stings after you shave.

Hi Amy:
I'll have to give that a try. Other deoderants make me itch. SO I can't use them.
