Posted - Feb 11 2008 : 06:02:30 AM I wanted to share that growing strawberries in the middle of a very cold winter (-25 degrees, -45 if you include wind chill) is not impossible. This year I decided to experiment since I have my own home made seed starting set up, as well as many strawberries plants in my yard. I brought some in and now I have my first two ripe strawberries (others are coming along). It doesn't take much to make me happy when berries are concerned. |

Posted - Feb 11 2008 : 7:28:27 PM What type of lights did you use? I was checking into a commericial indoor grow system called aerogarden, but I didn't want to spend that much money. Please tell me more about what you did!!
