Posted - Apr 16 2015 : 05:00:02 AM The boys built a tree fort a few years ago that was just a platform. Yesterday they wanted to enclose the area. We walked around the farm and found some things to make this happen. We'd just sold our horse and so we took apart the round pen so we had some extra wood. We also had a couple tarps laying around. This is how the boys (and my hubby) decided to enclose the bottom.
Then they went and drug out some old furniture we had in the shed and added it to their "pad". I was cleaning out the storage room in our barn and they found me to say, "Mom. We're inviting you to our open house. But you need to bring your own beverage." :) Kids, I tell ya.

Posted - Apr 17 2015 : 03:33:57 AM Bonnie - it was totally my husband's help that made it so turn out the way it did - and the fact that we'd just sold our horse the day before and dismantled the round pen so we had extra wood laying around. ;)
