Hey ladies,

A while back, I was having issues with my 5 gallon bucket handles. I use these buckets to store chicken food. As you know, 5 gal. buckets have those silly little uncomfortable plastic handles on the metal part that eventually crack and break off. SO, I took some extra foam weatherstripping that I had, wrapped it where the plastic handle used to be (two times around for extra padding), and covered that all in electrical tape. WOW, what a difference! It now fits my hand and I don't get hand cramps anymore from carrying my bucket around.

The weatherstripping is either a 1/2" or 3/4" black open-celled foam and it's cheap, cheap. One package will do about 3 buckets, I think.

Decorative duct tape would be soooo much cuter than electrical tape, but I didn't have any.

Also, I LOVE Gamma lids, and this is what I have on all of my 5 gal buckets that I use for storage. :0)
