Posted - Dec 29 2011 : 05:01:56 AM around 6 yards of navy blue polyester fabric. When I first started sewing, my husband took me for a fabric shopping spree at a closing fabric store. We had NO money, so looking back now I see how special this was. Anywho, I had no idea what/how to sew, so all of my fabric purchases were not the best and pretty much the cheapest thing I could find (you know, so I could walk out with the most amount of fabric..lol).
Now, 7 years later I still have this fabric. I really don't like to wear polyester, so I have no idea what to do with it.
Suggestions? What have you made with polyester?
Thanks ya'll!

Posted - Jan 05 2012 : 7:34:14 PM how about an apron! you can embellish it with trim, doilies, etc.... or shoe bags.. easy peasy. measure shoes,& doble the measurement heel to toe,(adding a couple of inches for the hem, leaving room for a draw string.) stitch the sides together, then run cording through to cinch the shoe bag closed.

Posted - Dec 29 2011 : 4:27:06 PM I made tablecloths from the polyester fabric that my grandma had collected. I like them because they are easy to wash and don't wrinkle as easily as cotton.
