Posted - Jul 11 2011 : 10:35:05 AM So, trying to stay motivated, I delved into the second part of our basement where our 3 teen sons reside :0). It was a lot harder than it looks, but I am happy with the results. I have mentioned before that I am NOT a fan of basement bedrooms---especially in a house built in 1955 without a proper ceiling. But, it is what it is and now I at least feel better about the way it looks!
Next will be the last portion of basement---has to be dry-locked by our contractor first. Then the wash room, and maybe the bathroom, but that really needs to be gutted---one step at a time, right? Thanks for letting me share :0). http://restingunderthepinetree.blogspot.com/2011/07/boys-side-is-done.html
