I finally found a use for my old tea cups. I found a picture of this clock in a magazine - they wanted $350.00 for it! I had the wood, the teacups I just had to buy the clockwork and paint - a steal at $20.00!

That is so cute! Just hope and pray the kids or grandkids don't start playing wiffle ball in the house this winter.

All the teacup ideas are great!!! I can only find teacups and saucers here for $6.00 or more, even in the thrift sores, so it would cost a fortune to make, but it will stick in my mind if I do find some less expensive!!!

I went to my neices baby shower a feew years ago. And the lady hadd used tea cups and the saucer to match ,and made bird feeders out of them.Has anyone ever seen them. They were in the garden.Beautiful! She said take a small drill bit. Run the cup and saucer under water and drill a small hole in them and get a tomato stake and a drill and screw in through the holes and then into the stake. The best is put the stake in the ground first. It works . But my cat Sox ended that for me. But they are wonderful.Put clear caulking underneath on the outside. If you want to use it just to put water in for the birds.

It's tea time!!! Good job Elaine. Now those cups are out where you can enjoy them.

Your clock is darling Elaine! Very clever. When I was visiting katmom/Grace a couple years ago she made me a sweet lavender teacup candle! The lavender is from her field. I burn it slowly because it is such a treasure.
