Hey gals! So I got this great idea from the Design Sponge site where you cut up old card board and make postcards from it! I've got a bunch of boxes left over from Christmas shipping stuff (stuff sent to me), and I've got a baby shower coming up this weekend, so I designed and am making thank-you postcards!

I've put a full how-to with pics up on my blog here: http://wayfaringartist.com/2011/03/03/upcycled-postcards/, but here's a pic so you can see how they came out...

@ Violet yes! I mailed a test set to my parents and mom-in-law and they worked just fine. I did use a regular letter stamp, but a postcard stamp might work too, I'd just take it and get it weighed to be double sure. I knew they weighed less than what you can mail with a letter stamp.

@Nini, you're welcome :-)

I love them!

Do you actually put a stamp on them and mail them?

oh thats such a cute idea. When I was little I used to take note cards and do that. Never thought of making them out of boxes.
