I really like the Outpost Chandelier and Outpost lights but my tin cans didn't do so well. The tin actually split in the freezer, anyone else have this problem? I took at few different craft ideas and made these little lights to hang above my deck. Let me know what you think!

Posted - Sep 01 2010 : 9:39:49 PM I love baby food, and I miss buying it. Especially the bananas and plums - YUM! My sis and I used to buy them and eat them as snacks when we were teens! LOL Good mixed with vanilla pudding, too! (Everybody likes parfaits!)
If you paint the inside with colors, the frosted outside will make it appear as "pastel" colored, just make sure you use paint intended for glass.
Love the idea! So pretty! You could also use stickers as stencils and mask off designs on the outside before spraying them, and the designs would show up as clear glass. Letters would be pretty too, and make them look like expensive initials!

Posted - Aug 01 2010 : 5:27:32 PM Lara, those are PHENOMENAL!! I absolutely love them and I am stealing your idea...lol. I have jelly canning jars (4oz) where the top is chipped, but I don't have the heart to throw my "little jars" away. What awesome repurposing you did!
