Posted - Mar 23 2010 : 1:34:03 PM I cleaned out the sewing room and found my stash of dried of lavender. Do you still need some? I definitely have a couple cups I can spare! Just e-mail me and we'll get you hooked up! As light as it is it should ship very cheaply! Opened the container and the scent just filled the air!

Posted - Mar 07 2010 : 06:56:01 AM I LOVE lavender. The back (west) side of my house loves lavender, too. Every year I plant another one and have started pinning shoots in the ground to start new ones. I'm dreaming of a whole bed of lavender back there. I make lavender wands for gifts, lavender sugar for tea or cookies, and lavender/epsom salt or sugar/olive oil hand scrub for all my gardening buddies. Can't believe I haven't made the homemade dryer bags before. That's next! I don't have a lot left from last year otherwise I'd offer you some! Hmmm, I think lavender scones are going into the oven today.

Posted - Feb 24 2010 : 10:35:40 AM I bought some from one of our very own MJF farmgirls - her name was Terri (5 Acre Farmgirl). I don't have her address any more, but maybe someone can put you in touch with her. It was wonderful dried lavender and I have used it to make quite a few sachets.
