I've been thinking of how to decorate my bathroom that includes a claw foot tub. I can either put a shelf on the wall beside the tub or a thought I had today...... find an old piece of barn wood that would fit perfectly over the tub. Like the tub baskets you buy to hold your bath supplies. I like the barn wood idea instead of a shiny traditional tub basket. What do you think?

Now to find the barn wood. The search begins.

An old wooden fence with 6-8 in planks would also work

Hello Sarah. Thanks for the offer. I have put out a wanted posting for barn wood and have searched for it. I did find some on Ebay believe it or not. I think I will ask my friend that lives out in the country to see if she could get me a piece or two:)

I could mail you some. I wonder how much it would cost though for shipping. You could try craigslist. Sounds like a really cute idea!
