Posted - Oct 18 2009 : 5:14:16 PM Well...I have made a lot of Origami paper cranes and I was wanting to sell them or give them away. They make perfect christmas ornaments! I have so many and can make more if people would like them, but I have so many that I have NO idea what to do with them. If you order one it's 50 cents...6 is 3 dollars and 12 is 6 dollars. If you cannot afford them than i'm willing to give them away as well...The paper cranes come in a variety of colors so don't be to picky...Please feel free to message me if you'd like some! Wonderful friendship lil' gifts as well! ![](icons/icon_smile.gif)

Posted - Oct 23 2009 : 05:49:00 AM Hi there! Just an idea here, but, I had a friend go in for surgery once, and as a "Get well" present I made 1000 cranes (this literally took me weeks and weeks) and stuck fishing line through them all to make a garland of the cranes. There's an Japanese story about 1000 cranes being good for healing (or something to that effect) I printed it out and attached it to the garland.
She's still got it hanging in her office! :) This would probably be really nice thing to do for a sick friend or relative.
ETA: here's a link to some background on the story:
