Today when I was weeding my cantaloupe patch, I got to witness the bee's getting nectar from all the flowers. It was so neat to see. It seemed like they weren't even afraid of me. But of course, I talked to them. I even have little melons forming. These seeds are ones I dried last year. So happy.

Hugs,

I know what your talking about, Karen! Our fruit trees buzz a lot when they're blooming. Kind of crazy to hear (in a wonderful way). I like to try and take pictures of them, but they never turn out very good. The bees move too fast or my camera won't focus correctly. I did get one ok picture a little bit ago:

I get a fair amount of bees in my garden, but it does help that my neighbor has her own bees! So they enjoy venturing into my garden.

Laurie, I love this!! :) I love to watch the bees work! One of my favorite times of year are when our orchard (five fruit trees) is blooming! I just stand near the trees and you can hear the buzzing going on! :) Makes my heart happy! :)

We do have bees and butterflies and so enjoy watching our bees at our flowers by the front porch. Such busy bees for sure.

Sadly, we don't have bees or butterflies anymore either.

So glad you have bees. I haven't seen bees or butterflies since spring and then only one or two.

Enjoy your pollinators! They should be a big help to your garden.
