Posted - Jul 24 2025 : 09:53:23 AM Today when I was weeding my cantaloupe patch, I got to witness the bee's getting nectar from all the flowers. It was so neat to see. It seemed like they weren't even afraid of me. But of course, I talked to them. I even have little melons forming. These seeds are ones I dried last year. So happy.

Posted - Jul 25 2025 : 7:17:29 PM I know what your talking about, Karen! Our fruit trees buzz a lot when they're blooming. Kind of crazy to hear (in a wonderful way). I like to try and take pictures of them, but they never turn out very good. The bees move too fast or my camera won't focus correctly. I did get one ok picture a little bit ago:

Posted - Jul 24 2025 : 6:52:30 PM Laurie, I love this!! :) I love to watch the bees work! One of my favorite times of year are when our orchard (five fruit trees) is blooming! I just stand near the trees and you can hear the buzzing going on! :) Makes my heart happy! :)
