Thanks Krista! I love to pick some of the blooms and bring inside. They will last inside
a few days in cold water I agree, it was an off season surely because of the intense heat!

Connie, those are beautiful! This has really been an off year. Almost everything in my garden struggled. My guess is it had to do with some heat as well. I am glad you still get to enjoy them.

I agree , it was the heat!
Denise, like Sara said, plants don't like city water like they like rain water!
The temp was so intense! Hydrangeas like shade and cool and water!
I would soak the leaves down too and water each one 30 minutes at the root.
Sharon I'm late every day for everything in the Summer! lol!

I was a bit of a late bloomer myself ;)!

When asked “How are you?”, I reply, “Better than good!”

Beautiful Connie!

Mine never bloomed this year. We just haven't had enough rain to keep everything going.

Connie, each bloom is beautiful. This year's heat took a toll on all our gardens in its path.

Thank you Debbie, last year they had about 50 blooms on each bush, I think it had to be the heat this year.

Connie --So beautiful! I remember my mother growing hydrangeas in Berkeley when I was a child. She used to put the used coffee grounds under them.
